PAMELA S. BRUMFIELD

Pamela Rhea Sargent Brumfield, 57, wife of Robert E. Brumfield, died on Wednesday, Jan. 2, 2019, at her home.

Born on May 18, 1961, in Nashville, Tennessee, she was a daughter of Jim and Carole Faith Sargent. She graduated from Central Wesleyan College with honors and received her master's degree from Clemson University. She was formerly employed at Central Carolina Technical College and retired from the Social Security Administration.

Survivors include her husband of 20 years; parents of Easley; a brother, John Sargent of Sunset; nephews, Alex Sargent and Timothy Sargent; stepdaughter, Airica Medlin of Seneca; mother-in-law, Dorothy Brumfield of Anderson; brother-in-law, Stephen Brumfield of Anderson; and sister-in-law, Karen Juneau of Canada.

The family will receive friends from 3 to 5 p.m. on Sunday at Elmore-Cannon-Stephens Funeral Home and from 1 to 4 p.m. at the home on Saturday. Casual attire is requested.

A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 8, at Hillcrest Memorial Park in Pickens.
