She was a dedicated member of Community Church of Praise.

Her memory will be cherished by two sons, Alejandro and Shamar McDuffie of Sumter; six daughters, Tammie McDuffie-Gilchrist of Columbia, Courtney Harris of Sumter, Sydney and Destiny McDuffie of the home, Tiffany Pollard of Rembert and Shaunice Pollard of Birmingham, Alabama; seven sisters, Helen Felder-Cook of Augusta, Georgia, Virginia Wilkes of Columbia, Bertha L. Wilkes and Pineas Wilkes of Sumter, Linda Gaymon of Newark, New Jersey, Genether Wilkes and Willie Mae Barr of Brooklyn, New York; 11 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren, all of whom were her favorite; a special sister-in-love, Rose Shaw of Sumter and daughter-in-love, Anita Johnson of Charlotte, North Carolina; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

The family is receiving relatives and friends at the home, 2460 Kolb Road, Sumter.

Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. today at Hillside Memorial Park, 3001 Cains Mill Road, Sumter, with Apostle Dorothy Maple officiating.
