PATRICIA OWENS AMICK

WINNSBORO - Patricia Owens Amick, 82, of Winnsboro, widow of Vern F. Amick, passed away on Sunday, May 23, 2021.

Born in Pleasant Hill in Georgetown County, she was a daughter of the late James T. and Vernice C. Owens.

She is survived by three children, Brian F. Amick (Tammie) of Sumter, Lisa A. Cathcart (Thomas) of Blythewood and James V. Amick (JoEllen) of Irmo; as well as eight grandchildren, Brian F. Amick Jr., LeAnne M. Amick, Margaret J. Cathcart, Carter O. Cathcart, Samuel J. Cathcart, Christian J. Amick, Colin D. Amick and Caelyn P.R. Amick; and three sisters, Betty Lewellen, Gracie Birchmore and Arden Evans; and a brother, Greg Owens.

In addition to her husband and parents, Patricia was predeceased by three brothers, Johnny Owens, George Owens and Gerald Owens.

Visitation will be held at 10 a.m. on Wednesday at Bethel Associate Reformed Presbyterian Church, 101 Zion St., Winnsboro. Funeral services will follow at 11 a.m. and will be conducted by the Rev. James McManus. Burial will immediately follow at First United Methodist Church Cemetery.
