PAUL B. JONES

Paul B. Jones, 75, husband of Rose Wingard Jones, died Monday, Sept. 9, 2019, at his home.

Born in Hartsville, he was a son of the late Paul Jones Sr. and Francis Marie Gainey Jones. Mr. Jones was of the Baptist faith. He was a retired construction superintendent.

Surviving are his wife of Sumter; three daughters, Rhonda Winter (Phil) of Greenville, North Carolina, Cindy Jones of Surfside Beach and Paula Earp (Gregory J.) of Morrison, Tennessee; a son, Kenneth Brooks Jones of Biloxi, Mississippi; a sister, Shirley Marie Reed of Sumter; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Thursday in the chapel of Elmore Hill McCreight Funeral Home.

Burial was at Sumter Cemetery.
