CLARENDON COUNTY – Folks living in the Eagle Pointe and Wyboo Pointe subdivisions and adjacent areas that are served by water systems in these areas have been issued a Boil Water Notice.
The Clarendon County Water and Sewer Department has advised residents using water systems in these areas to vigorously boil their water for at least one full minute prior to drinking or cooking.
This notice is due to low, or loss of pressure due to a main water break.
Residents should continue to vigorously boil their water for one full minute before drinking or cooking until otherwise notified by the Clarendon County Water and Sewer Department. Any ice that is made using water that has not been boiled should not be used for drinking or cooking purposes.
The CCWSD is presently working to correct the problem.
If you have any questions regarding this notice, call the utility office at (803) 433-3255.
