Players inducted into Athletic Hall of Fame

Recently, East Clarendon High School held its annual Athletic Hall of Fame banquet in the school's gymnasium. The following players were inducted and honored: the late Bernie Brogdon, Ed Brogdon, Dr. Clarence "Butch" Coker, Jimmy Fleming, Donald Moore, Todd Morris, Wendy Rhodes, Beryl Robinson, Toby Turbeville and the 1958 State Championship Baseball team (Joe Coker, the late Freddie Dennis, the late Mitchell Floyd, the late Ed Green, John William Green, Shad Hall, the late Bobby Hardy, Maxie Knowlton, the late Everette McElveen, Jack McElveen, the late Jack McFaddin, Frankie Morris, the late Keith Osborne, Jim Plowden, Beryl Robinson, Charles Strickland, the late Bill Turbeville, the late Ed Turbeville, Toby Turbeville, RP Watts, Jackie Yates and Norris Yates.) The banquet will air on FTC NOW (Channel 26 on FTC Digital TV) later this month.
