Pond management webinar offered by Clemson Extension

Clemson University Cooperative Extension Service is hosting a winter pond management webinar for private pond owners and homeowner associations from 10 to 11 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 9.

The webinar will cover the do's and don'ts of managing a pond in the winter. A proactive winter can get you ahead of the game for the spring and reduce annoying algae blooms, stabilize banks and ensure good water quality leading into the growing season.

Whether your pond is new or well established, the webinar will provide tips for all. Topics include: Buffer Zone and Upland Management; Wildlife Control and Damage Prevention; and Fish Production Management.
