Deacon Preston Johnson, 86, husband of Bertha Stukes Johnson, died on Saturday, Dec. 8, 2018, at National Healthcare Center.
He was born on May 29, 1932, in the Davis Crossroad section of Summerton, a son of the late Thomas Johnson Sr. and Blanche Carrigan Johnson.
The family is receiving friends from 1 until 4 p.m. daily at his residence, 2340 Brogdon Road, Sumter.
