Alexis Evans - R.E. Davis College Preparatory Academy

"Alexis Evans is currently in her third school year as a middle school social studies teacher at R.E. Davis. She received her bachelor's degree in sociology and history from Charleston Southern University and her master's degree in crisis counseling from Liberty University. Her teaching philosophy is to not only teach what happened in world history but to place significance on why it happened and the effects it had on society then and through today. She feels that this understanding is an important lesson for students since their generation will one day be the ones making these lasting decisions for our world. Additionally, she is a coach for the girls volleyball and track teams for the R.E. Davis Vikings. She loves to spend time outdoors and reading and is excited to be at R.E. Davis because everyone is so friendly and supportive!"
