Reckless driver who reportedly caused $90K in damage to property arrested

A man who reportedly caused $90,000 in property damage at the Sambino's Pizza near Shaw Air Force Base just before Thanksgiving was arrested Tuesday.
Jerone Allan Pratt Smith, 24, reportedly drove a white 2008 Ford F250 in the parking lot behind Melted Whiskey after leaving the establishment. Smith reportedly lost control of the vehicle in the parking lot and ran into the part of that same building owned by Sambino's, according to the Sumter County Sheriff's Office.
The establishments are just north of the Broad Street and Peach Orchard Road intersection at 1305 Peach Orchard Road.
He posted a $440 personal recognizance bond on Tuesday.
