Redd is a lovable, good-natured boy, who deserves to be spoiled

Posted

This big lovable Labrador mix is Redd. He was dumped at Walgreens on Broad Street and was living on the streets for more than a month, too afraid and confused to let anyone get near. He was waiting on his people to come back for him. Redd must be heartbroken. He eventually gave into his need for love and allowed himself to be caught by some patient ladies. He is dog and cat friendly. He weighs 85 pounds, is approximately 3 to 5 years old and is heartworm negative. Redd is very good-natured and obviously used to living inside. He needs a new forever home with owners who want to spoil him. This adorable guy deserved better than being dumped and abandoned. Redd is in kennel 45 at Sumter Animal Control, 1240 Winkles Road. As with all of our adoptable dogs, we do require a spay or neuter agreement, and it is strictly enforced. Proof of spay/neuter after adoption will be required. We have many other adoptable dogs as well as animals who were found and are waiting for their owners to claim them. Check Sumter Animal Control on Facebook. Call the adoption coordinator at (803) 774-3232 to set up a meet and greet or email at rescuesumtersc@gmail.com.
