ROBERT BENJAMIN FRYER III

BISHOPVILLE - Robert "Bobby" Benjamin Fryer III, 42, husband of Leslie Qualls Fryer, died on Wednesday, April 10, 2019, at McLeod Hospice House in Florence.

Born in Sumter, he was a son of Robert Benjamin Fryer II and Shirley Chambers Fryer. Mr. Fryer was a member of Sumter Baptist Temple and was a self-employed welder.

Surviving are his parents of Sumter; his wife of Bishopville; four sons, Austin, Landon, Rylan and Owen Fryer, all of the home; a daughter, Sarah Fryer of the home; and a sister, Renee Fryer of Sumter.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Jamie Fryer.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday at Sumter Baptist Temple with the Rev. Michael Westmoreland and the Rev. Chris Shepler officiating. Burial will be at Sumter Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be John Ray Hicks, Jason Geddings, David Garcia, Sammy DuBose, Jonathan Matear and Rick Bright.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Elmore Hill McCreight Funeral Home.
