Robert Lee Frazier Sr., 86, widower of Sylvia Baker Frazier, died on Saturday, Jan. 16, 2021, at Prisma Health Richland Hospital in Columbia.

Born on Feb. 28, 1934, in Sparta, Georgia, he was a son of the late Albert and Alice Anderson Frazier.  He was a member of Bible Fellowship Church.  Mr. Frazier retired from the U.S. Air Force.  He served in the Korean War and two tours of duty in the Vietnam War.  He also retired from Sumter Petroleum and was a master mechanic.  He was a Mason in good standing and served in the Masonic Lodge for more than 60 years.

Survivors include six children, Robert Lee Frazier Jr. (Pamela), Tonya Frazier Grammer (Dave), Ronald Frazier, Joseph Randall Frazier Jr. (Yusan), Philip Alexander Frazier (Keleigh) and Seth Albert Frazier; four grandchildren, Jennifer King (Wyatt), James Frazier (Usha), Libby Grammer and D.J. Grammer; and 13 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a son, Joseph Randall Frazier; a brother, John Henry Frazier; and five sisters, Sarah Stapleton, Louise Bradford, Frances Simons, Blanche Webb and Net Stowe.

A graveside service with full military honors will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at Evergreen Memorial Park cemetery with the Rev. Tim Whited officiating.

The family will receive friends at the home, 619 Mattison Ave.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Masonic Home of Georgia, P.O. Box 4183, Macon, GA 31208.

Elmore-Cannon-Stephens Funeral Home and Crematorium of Sumter is in charge of the arrangements.
