ROBERT W. TOMASCH

WEDGEFIELD - Robert W. "Bobby" Tomasch, 63, died Tuesday, July 30, 2019, at Prisma Health Richland Hospital in Columbia.

Born Dec. 29, 1955, in Paterson, New Jersey, he was a son of Helga Konrad Tomasch and the late Robert Tomasch. He was a certified welder and anhydrous ammonia refrigeration technician. He was of the Catholic faith.

Survivors include his mother of Wedgefield; two sisters, Hilda Stevens (Mark) of Raleigh, North Carolina, and Linda Brice (Billy) of Sumter; and nieces and nephews, Mark, John, Brandon, Gaige, Ashlynne, Daniel, Savannah and Parker.

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday in the Elmore-Cannon-Stephens Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. Charles Ahtonen officiating. Burial will be at Evergreen Memorial Park cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 1 to 2 p.m. Saturday at Elmore-Cannon-Stephens Funeral Home and at the home of his mother following the graveside service.
