Rodney Lewis Sr., husband of Kimberly Crank-Lewis, was born on Dec. 9, 1963, in Sumter, to the late Sammie and Maggie White Lewis.

In addition to his parents, Rodney was preceded in death by a sister, Zelda Lewis-Claridy; three aunts; three uncles; and his grandparents.

Rodney departed this earthy life on Wednesday, Nov. 21, 2018, in Hartsville.

Rodney leaves to cherish his memory: his wife, Kimberly Crank-Lewis; three daughters, Sanquonetta (Chris) McMillan, Courtney Pendergrass and Nyshelle Crank; four sons, Rodney Lewis Jr., Rodriques Lewis, Rominique Lewis and Nicholas Crank-Lewis; 14 grandchildren; a brother, Samuel L. (Carolyn) Lewis Jr.; two sisters, Mellony (James) Anderson and Machelle Lewis; four aunts; one uncle; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday at Jehovah Missionary Baptist Church, 803 S. Harvin St., Sumter, with the Rev. Dr. Marion H. Newton, pastor, officiating.

A public viewing will be held from 1 to 6 p.m. today at the mortuary.

The family is receiving friends at 110 Habitat Court, Sumter.
