Elizabeth Anne Rogers of Irmo and Nicholas Tolan Doyle of Sumter were united in marriage at 1 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 13, 2018, at St. Anne and St. Jude Catholic Church in Sumter.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. Daniel Rogers and Mrs. Karen Rogers of Irmo and the granddaughter of Mrs. Margaret Rogers and the late Col. James Rogers of Sumter and Capt. James and Mrs. Geraldine Presley of Irmo. She graduated from the University of South Carolina with a Bachelor's degree in English and is pursuing a Master's in Library and Information Science from USC. She is employed by USC Sumter as an admissions processor.

The bridegroom is the son of Mr. Michael and Mrs. Kristi Doyle and the grandson of Lt. Col. Francis and Mrs. Joan Doyle and Maj. Lloyd and Mrs. Beverly Crowe, all of Sumter. He graduated from USC with a Bachelor's in History and is pursuing a Master's in Library and Information Science. He is employed by the South Caroliniana Library as a library specialist.

The Rev. Peter Sousa, C.Ss.R., and the Rev. Noly Berjuega, CRM, officiated at the ceremony.

Music was provided by Ann LeGrand, organist; Barney Osborne, cantor; and Christina Wouters, soloist.

Escorted by her father, the bride wore an ivory-and-champagne traditional ballgown of lace-appliqued tulle with a pearl- and crystal-beaded bodice, completed with buttons down a sheer illusion back. She carried a bouquet of champagne roses, burgundy carnations, blue thistles, Veronica flowers, eucalyptus and assorted greenery.

Christina Wouters served as matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Casey Doyle, Samantha Molony, Kirby Six, Hannah Martin, Lauren Blanchette, Hannah Clark and Chrissy Lopez-White.

Zachary Martin served as best man. Groomsmen were Joshua Rogers, Erika Zito, Noah Oakley, Jacob Wall, Shawver Adams, Matthew Mossell and Jake Welsh.

Also participating were Bella Crowe, Jacob Crowe, Jared Wouters and Margaret Leppert.

The reception was held at The O'Donnell House in Sumter.

The rehearsal party was held at Sumter County Museum.

Following a wedding trip to New York City, the couple resides in Sumter.
