Funeral services for Rogie D. Nelson, 52, of 5 Barnely Court, Columbia, will be held at 1:30 p.m. today at Jehovah Missionary Baptist Church, 805 Harvin St., Sumter. Interment will follow at Hillside Memorial Park.

Mr. Nelson will be placed in the church one hour prior to the service.

Mr. Nelson passed away on Monday, Dec. 2, 2019, at Prisma Health Richland Hospital, Columbia.

Family and friends may call from 3 to 8 p.m. daily at the residence of his wife, Susie Nelson, 5 Barnely Court, Columbia, and from 4 to 9 p.m. daily at the home of his mother, Elizabeth Nelson, 101 Orange St., Sumter, or at Simmons Funeral Home of Santee.
