RONALD A. D'ANELLA

Ronald A. D'Anella, age 82, beloved husband of the late Judith Gail DAnella, died on Sunday, Aug. 11, 2019, at his residence.

Born in Bronx, New York, he was a son of the late Emil D'Anella and Jenny Brienza DAnella. Mr. D'Anella served his country in the U.S. Air Force and retired as a master sergeant. He was owner and proprietor of DeMara's Italian Restaurant. He enjoyed playing golf, eating food and socializing with people. He was a member of the Sumter Elk's Club. Mr. D'Anella will be remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend.

Surviving are one son, Thomas D'Anella of Sumter; two daughters, Laura Danella Duggan and her husband, Gary, of Sumter, and Tammie Sugar and her husband, Kevin, of Valdosta, Georgia; one sister, Judy Acierno and her husband, Tony, of Sunrise, Florida; and one grandson, Gary Duggan Jr. of Sumter.

The family will receive friends from 1 to 3 p.m. on Saturday at Bullock Funeral Home with full military honors beginning at 3 p.m.
