ROSA M. WELLS WALKER

Rosa M. Wells Walker, widow of Luther Walker, entered into eternal rest on Saturday, Aug. 10, 2019, at Prisma Health Tuomey Hospital.

Born in Sumter County, she was a daughter of the late Eston Sr. and Rosalie Cook Wells. Rosa received her formal education in the public schools of Sumter County. She was a graduate of Lincoln High School Class of 1961. Mrs. Walker moved to Cleveland, Ohio, where she was employed as a nurse technician, until her retirement in 2008. In 2018, she returned to Sumter.

Rosa M. Wells Walker leaves to cherish precious memories: several siblings, nieces, nephews and other relatives.

The family will be having a private memorial service.
