ROSE MARIE ANDERSON

Rose Marie Anderson, 58, died on Friday, Sept. 10, 2021, at her home.

Born on Dec. 5, 1962, in Sumter County, she was a daughter of the late Louis and Ellen Dennis Anderson. Marie, as she was known, had a heart of gold. She could light up a room with her presence. If she loved you, she would not leave your presence without saying "I love ya." She was always willing to help wherever she could.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her grandmother, Lucille Jackson; and a brother, Raymond Dennis.

She leaves to cherish her memories: her children, Chanta (Jeffrey) Sanders, Dana Anderson, Sedina (Eron) Taylor and Santana Anderson; three sisters, Mary (Bud) Bradford, Babara (Jerry) Bradford and Juanita Dennis; four brothers, Joseph (Gloria) Anderson, Steven Anderson, Robert (Rosa Lee) Dennis and Louie Anderson; six grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

In accordance with the COVID-19 guidelines, the family is requesting face masks and social distancing be observed by relatives and friends during visitation at the home, 4645 Camden Highway, Dalzell.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday in the John Wesley Williams Sr. Memorial Chapel of Williams Funeral Home Inc., 821 N. Main St., Sumter, with the Rev. Harry Clark officiating.

The procession will leave the home at 1:20 p.m.

Burial will be at Rafting Creek Baptist Churchyard Cemetery, 3860 S.C. 261 North, Rembert.
