SUMMERVILLE - Roselyne Georgette Evans, age 82, beloved wife of the late Allen Baxter Evans, died on Saturday, Oct. 24, 2020, at her residence.

Born on March 9, 1938, in L'Etoile, France, she was a daughter of the late George and Marie Angel Henache. Mrs. Evans met her husband in Paris, and together they lived the military life and traveled the world. She was extremely outgoing and had a resilient personality. In addition, she was an excellent cook and enjoyed making pastries and crepes. Mrs. Evans will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and friend.

Surviving are one son, Christian Charleroy of Paris, France; two daughters, Sandra Quigley of Summerville and Kathy Wells and her husband, John Willingham, of Simpsonville; one brother, Roger Henache of France; two sisters, Helene Simard and Micheline Henache, both of France; six grandchildren, Phillip Gonzalez, Sabrina Gonzalez, Amanda Quigley, Allen McLaughlin, Cody Wells and Marion Charleroy; and two great-grandchildren, Braylan Long and Kason McLaughlin.

A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday at Evergreen Memorial Park cemetery.

Prior to the graveside service, the family will receive friends from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Friday at Bullock Funeral Home.
