RUBY ANN ELLA KING EPPARD

Ruby Ann Ella King Eppard, 77, wife of Garry H. Eppard, died on Monday, Jan. 21, 2019, at Prisma Health Tuomey Hospital.

Born in Campton, Kentucky, she was a daughter of the late John and Mildred Banks King. Mrs. Eppard was a retired clerk at the Shaw Air Force Base Golf Course.

Surviving are her husband of Sumter; a son, John Fye of Charlotte, North Carolina; a brother, Jack King (Vickie) of Franklin, Ohio; four sisters, Peg Miller (Randy) of Gratis, Ohio, Brenda Nickells of Mt. Sterling, Kentucky, Paulette Bryant of Campton and Wanda Collingworth (Bob) of Mt. Sterling; brother-in-law, Dickie Easterling of Mt. Sterling; five grandchildren, Robert A. Hillman and fianc e, Denesha Moye, Kristen Fye, Amanda Fye, Brittany Taylor Watts and Brittany Morgan Watts; and two great-grandchildren, Desrinna Hillman and Cory James Watts.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, Kathy Hillman; grandson, Cory Fye; sister, Bonnie Easterling; daughter-in-law, Dolanne Fye; and son-in-law, Robert S. Hillman.

Graveside services will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Friday at Sumter Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 1 to 2 p.m. at Elmore Hill McCreight Funeral Home.
