RUFUS BENNETT JR.

WALDORF, Md. - Rufus Bennett Jr., age 41, entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, Dec. 3, 2019, in Maryland.

Born in Clarendon County, he was a son of Williamae Singleton Anderson and the late Rufus Bennett Sr. He was the husband of Cheryl Dyson Bennett.

Funeral services will be held at noon on Friday at Historic Liberty Hill AME Church, Summerton, with the Rev. Archie S. Temony Sr., pastor, officiating. Final resting place will be at the church cemetery.

The body will be placed in the church one hour prior to the service.

Visitation will be held from 3 to 7 p.m. today in the chapel of Dyson's Home for Funerals.

The family will receive friends at the home of his aunt, Betty Bennett, 4253 St. Paul Road, Summerton.
