Ruth Perry, 89, widow of Nathaniel Perry Sr. and daughter of Lucious and Pauline Spann Pringle, was born on Jan. 8, 1930, in Sumter. She departed this life on Monday, Feb. 4, 2019, at Prisma Health Tuomey in Sumter.
