SALLY HARDEN HARVIN

Sally Harden Harvin, 78, wife of John Harvin, died on Saturday, Jan. 25, 2020, at Prisma Health Tuomey Hospital.

Born in Lawrence, Massachusetts, she was a daughter of the late William Winslow Dunnells and Emily Balcom Dunnells. She was a member of High Hills of the Santee and was a retired cosmetologist with Styles by Steve.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by a daughter, Lauri Beth Dowell (Kent) of Mooresville, North Carolina; a brother, Buzz Dunnells (Joni) of Fort Mill; a stepson, Chip Harvin (Carla) of Myrtle Beach; a stepdaughter, Tammy Harvin of Florence; eight grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a son, Glen Savage.

A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday in the chapel of Elmore Hill McCreight Funeral Home with the Rev. Ron Underwood officiating.

The family will receive friends from 1 to 2 p.m. at the funeral home before the service.

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital and the Shriner's Hospital.
