Sammy is a handsome, sweet and gentle boy

Sammy is a handsome, lanky fella. He ended up at animal control because he was roaming in a neighborhood. Sammy is a little shy when you first meet him. Once you gain his trust, though, he's your best friend. He is getting along with other dogs and is submissive to them. He will do well in a home with another dog who can help him with his confidence and socialization. Sammy weighs 47 pounds and is approximately 1-2 years old. This very sweet, gentle guy will blossom out of the shelter. As with all of our adoptable dogs, we do require a spay or neuter agreement, and it is strictly enforced. Proof of spay/neuter after adoption will be required. We have many other adoptable dogs as well as animals who were found and are waiting for their owners to claim them.
