SARA JANE SPANN
Funeral services for Sara Jane Spann will be held at 1 p.m. on Monday at Mulberry Missionary Baptist Church, 1400 Mulberry Church Road, Sumter, with the Rev. Larry Blanding, pastor, officiating. Interment will follow at the church cemetery.
A public viewing will be held from 1 to 6 p.m. on Sunday at the mortuary.
Sara was born on Jan. 17, 1969, in Sumter, to the late Ernest Sr. and Annie Tomlin Spann.
She was preceded in death by two sisters, Ernestine Spann Bell and Calesia Spann.
Sara departed this life on Wednesday, Oct. 16, 2019, in Sumter.
Sara is survived by four brothers, Raymon (Linda) Spann, Ernest (Savannah) Spann Jr., Randolph (Roseann) Spann and Robert (Shauna) Spann; four sisters, Diane Tiller, Loretta Spann, Cheryl Williams (Bernard) and Vanessa Spann; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
The family is receiving friends at the home of her sister and brother-in-law, Cheryl and Bernard Williams.
