Sara Louise Dickson Foxworth, age 69, beloved wife for 50 years to Doug Foxworth, died on Tuesday, Feb. 12, 2019, at her home.

Sara knew her Lord Jesus as her Savior. Sara was born on April 8, 1949, in Charleston. She retired as the printing / copying coordinator for Sumter School District 17. There she was a talented graphic designer, working with many district administrators, school administrators, teachers and support staff, developing, designing, coordinating the printing and production of special and important projects. She was known for her sense of humor, sharp wit and a good story teller of humorous events of her life.

Surviving other than her husband are one daughter, Shannon Gradwell and her husband, Chris, of Sumter; two grandchildren, Taylor Gradwell and Zach Gradwell, both of Sumter; one sister, Demma Truell of Sumter; nieces, Beth Coker and Leigh Jackson-Black, both of Sumter; and nephews, Michael Shane Dickson, Ryan Dickson, Duece Cason and Trey Truell, all of Sumter.

Sara was preceded in death by her parents, Joe and JoEmily Dickson; brother, Shane Dickson; and her beloved grandparents, Wade and Louise Pack.

A graveside service will be held at 3 p.m. on Saturday at Sumter Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. on Friday at Bullock Funeral Home.
