SARAH BRIGGS NELSON
SUMMERTON - Sarah Briggs Nelson, widow of Ernest Nelson Sr., entered into eternal rest on Friday, Dec. 14, 2018, at her residence in Summerton.
Born in Clarendon County, she was a daughter of the late John and Mia Jones Briggs.
Funeral services will held at noon on Saturday at Taw Caw Missionary Baptist Church, Summerton, with the Rev. Dr. William T. Johnson, host pastor, and the Rev. O'Donald Dingle, eulogist. Final resting place will be at Shiloh-St. Matthews Cemetery, Summerton.
Visitation will be from 1 to 7 p.m. today at Dyson's Home for Funerals.
The body will be placed in the church one hour prior to the service.
The family will receive friends at the home, 1150 Lincoln St., Summerton.
