SARAH JANE LINTON BUNDLEY

Sarah Jane Linton Bundley, 81, widow of Tom R. Bundley, was born in Lee County, to the late Robert and Sarah E. Wilson Linton. She departed this life on Tuesday, Sept. 14, 2021, at Vitua Memorial Hospital in Mount Holly, New Jersey, after an extended illness.

Sarah graduated in 1957 from Eastern High School in Sumter. After graduation, she relocated to New Jersey, where she met her late husband, Tom R. Bundley.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Thomas Linton, Moses Linton and Eugene Linton.

Sarah leaves to cherish precious memories: her loving children, a son, Bernard Bundley of Orange, New Jersey; three daughters, Yvette Thomas of Orange, Annette and her son-in-law, Anthony Williams, of Columbus, New Jersey, who were her devoted care providers during her illness, and Sharon Bundley-DeWar and her son-in-law, Maurice DeWar, of Bunnlevel, North Carolina; 11 grandchildren, Jamil, Jamal, Kelly, Jamar, Anthony, Andrew, Davon, Tiffany, Bernard Jr., Deshawn and Deion; 26 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Robert (Erma) Linton Jr. of Hillside, New Jersey, and Odell Linton of Sumter; five sisters, Laura L. Singleton, Essie L. (Junious) Shaw, Cora L. (Jerry) Baker and Geraldine L. Scott, all of Sumter, and Gardenia L. (William) Hamilton of Florence; one aunt, Bernethea Wilson of Sumter; five sisters-in-law; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held from 7 to 9 p.m. on Wednesday at Cotton Funeral Services.

Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday at Cotton Funeral Services, 130 Main St., Orange, New Jersey.

Professional service is entrusted to Cotton Funeral Services in Orange.

Interment will follow at Rosedale Cemetery in Orange.
