SARAH RUTH GIBSON RAND

PINEWOOD - Sarah Ruth Gibson Rand, 89, widow of Roystine Rand, died on Tuesday, Nov. 15, 2022, in Hughesville, Maryland.

She was born on Nov. 4, 1933, in Summerton, a daughter of the late James Henry Gibson Sr. and Catherine Kennedy Gibson.

Public viewing will be held from 2 to 6 p.m. today at Hayes F. Samuels Sr. Memorial Chapel, 114 N. Church St., Manning.

"Celebration of a Life Well Lived" will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday at Greater St. Phillip RMUE Church, 4574 Old River Road, Pinewood, SC 29125. Final viewing will take place at 10 a.m.

This will be Sarah's final fundraiser. It was always her wish that in lieu of floral tributes, donations be made to the Greater St. Phillip RMUE Church in her memory (In The Name of Jesus). Sarah also reminded us that, "You can't beat God giving."
