WALHALLA (AP) - A South Carolina woman has died from the head injury she suffered in a motorcycle crash that killed her husband. Neither of them wore helmets. They leave behind a 9-year-old son.

News outlets report 35-year-old Mary Rebecca Graham died Saturday. Her husband, 32-year-old James Richard "Richie" Rogers Jr., died at the scene three days earlier.

South Carolina Highway Patrol Lance Cpl. Gary Miller says Rogers was driving the motorcycle when they were hit by a pickup truck.

Miller says 62-year-old William Edward Hardin failed to yield the right of way, hitting the motorcycle. He's being charged with failure to yield to a stop sign. It's unclear if he has an attorney.

The investigation is ongoing.
