Sen. Tim Scott, R-S.C., will sit on the Committee on Finance; the Committee on Banking, Housing and Urban Affairs; the Committee on Health, Education, Labor and Pensions; the Committee on Small Business and Entrepreneurship; and the Special Committee on Aging, according to a news release from his office.
"I have been blessed to represent the best state in the nation and serve on some of the most important committees during my time in the United States Senate," Scott said in the release. "This Congress is no different. I look forward to working alongside my new and old colleagues in our expanded Senate majority to consider the real issues affecting everyday Americans. Now is the time we need to ensure that civility, fairness and opportunity are top of mind as we continue to build a brighter future for families across the nation."
