Scrappy is a young Chihuahua mix who wants a new home

Scrappy is a 2-year-old, brown-and-tan male Chihuahua mix. He is a very sweet, lovable dog. Scrappy weighs about 5 pounds, is current on all of his age-appropriate vaccinations and has been neutered. Peanut still has the energy of a puppy and loves to play, but he also does not mind being held. He gets along well with other dogs and does well with kids. We would love for Peanut and Scrappy to be adopted together, if at all possible. A Second Chance Animal Shelter, 5079 Alex Harvin Highway (U.S. 301), is open Tuesday through Saturday from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
