Shaw Air Force Base hosts STEAM event

A STEAM event on Saturday at Shaw Air Force Base highlighted science, technology, engineering, art and math areas of exploration, from science experiments to theatrical performances. McElveen Library hosted Sumter Little Theatre for a Readers' Theatre event to highlight the arts, while the Viper Spark - Shaw AFB Innovation Cell provided hands-on activities with robotic kits, flight simulators and 3-D printers. The Sumter School District STEM Bus also joined in the fun with displays.
