SHELLY HICKSON

OLANTA - Elder Shelly Hickson, 69, husband of Ida McElveen Hickson, died on Saturday, Sept. 26, 2020, at MUSC Health Florence, Florence.

He was born on Oct. 7, 1950, in Scranton, a son of the late Elsie Hickson.

Public viewing for Elder Hickson will be held from 4 to 6 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Graveside services for Elder Hickson will be held at noon on Friday at Dusty Road Cemetery, Scranton, with the Rev. Arkus Frierson officiating and Evangelist Sylvia Miller and the Rev. Andrew McFadden assisting.

The family is receiving friends at the home of his daughter, Sheila McKenzie, 12265 Lynches River Road, Olanta.

These services have been entrusted to Samuels Funeral Home LLC of Manning.
