Sheriff's office to sell barbecue plates Wednesday

Sumter County Sheriff's Office will be selling barbecue plates from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesday to raise money for the local Toys for Tots. The $7 plate includes barbecue, green beans, baked beans, corn, a slice of pound cake and a slice of bread.

Plates can be be picked up at the Sumter County Sheriff's Office Training Center behind the Sheriff's Office, 1281 N. Main St. (U.S. 15 North).

Orders of five plates or more can be delivered at no extra charge.
