Shirley Bennett James, 64, died on Friday, Feb. 19, 2021, at her residence in Sumter.
Born on July 5, 1956, in Clarendon County, she was a daughter of the late Mary Ethel Gipson Bennett and Elijah Bennett.
The family will receive friends at the home of her sister and brother-in-law, Sylvia and Velta Wright, 1743 MW Rickenbaker Road, Manning. Please wear a mask when visiting the family.
