Shirley Bennett James, 64, died on Friday, Feb. 19, 2021, at her residence in Sumter.
Born on July 5, 1956, in Clarendon County, she was a daughter of the late Mary Ethel Gipson Bennett and Elijah Bennett.
A public viewing is scheduled for 3 to 6 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home chapel.
Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday at House of God Miracle Temple Cemetery, Davis Station.
Services have been entrusted to Summerton Funeral Home LLC.
