SHS junior earns highest Girl Scout award for project

Sumter High School junior Kayleigh Jordan has earned the Girl Scout Gold Award, the highest given by the organization, for her "quiet book" project. She has been a member of Troop 2243 for 12 years, starting as a Daisy when she was 5.
