Funeral services for Stacy Windell Rhodes will be held at 2:30 p.m. today at Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church, 325 W. Fulton St., Sumter, with the Rev. Dr. James B. Blassingame officiating. Interment will follow at the Aycock Cemetery, Wedgefield Road.

Stacy transitioned on Saturday, March 30, 2019, at Prisma Health Richland Hospital in Columbia.

Born in Sumter County, he was a son of Tressa Rhodes and Stacy W. Pringle. Stacy, 30, affectionately known as "Boi," was educated in the public schools of Sumter County and attended Sumter High School. After high school, he worked various jobs and, in recent years, was employed by McEntire Produce Co. in Columbia. Stacy was a generous soul and a loving father to his children. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. Stacy also loved sports and was passionate about basketball.

In addition to his maternal grandparents, Pearl R. Richardson and Leroy James, he was preceded in death by a sister, Ke Ke' Isaac; four uncles, Anthony, Leroy, Tony and Ricardo Jr.; and a godbrother, DeAndre Covers.

Survivors are his beloved mother, Treassa Rhodes and her fianc , Tony Baker; his father, Stacy Pringle; stepfather, Lewis Jenkins; sons, DeAndre Rhodes, Kaceon, Rhodes, Kayon Rhodes and Ja'Kevin Hunter; three sisters, LaShanda (Terrance) Rhodes, Shericka Burgess and Arman K. Pringle; two brothers, Anthony Pringle and James Archie Jr.; paternal grandparents, Nancy (Marion) Colclough and Ricardo Richardson; a host of aunts, uncles, grand-aunts, nieces, nephews and cousins; and his fianc e, Adrienna McFadden.
