STEPHEN I. MILLIGAN

Funeral services for Stephen I. Milligan will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday at Friendship Missionary Baptist Church, 182 S. Pike Road, Sumter, with the Rev. Aurelia Hill, pastor, and the Rev. Ricky Simmons officiating. Burial will follow at Bradford Cemetery, Talley Road, Sumter.

A public viewing will be held from 1 to 6 p.m. today at the mortuary.

He was born on Jan. 27, 1989, in Brooklyn, New York, to Caroyln York Milligan and Larry T. Milligan Sr.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Shepherd and Willie Mae Hudson York; paternal grandfather, Joseph Smalls; three grandaunts, Mattie Gore, Janie Gibson and Ruth York; and three uncles, Thomas York, Shepherd York Jr. and Ricky Rhames.

He departed this life on Saturday, Jan. 9, 2021, in Sumter.

He leaves to cherish his memories: two children, Machi Milligan and McKenzie Milligan; his mother, Caroyln Milligan; his father, Larry (Joyce) Milligan Sr.; a brother, Larry T. Milligan; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
