STEPHEN PRESTON BIERING III

PINEWOOD - Stephen Preston Biering III, 24, died on Saturday, Feb. 15, 2020, at his home.

Born on Oct. 30, 1995, in Sumter, he was a son of the late Glenn Currier and Sunny Biering. He was a U.S. Army veteran and had served in Afghanistan. He was employed by Giant Resource Recovery.

Survivors include a son, Bentley Carson, and his mother, Chelsea Carson; a sister, Amber Toolen (Jim); stepfather, James Young; maternal grandfather, Stephen P. Biering Sr.; paternal grandparents, Art and Anne Currier; two nephews, L.J. Toolen and Benjamin Toolen; and Reanna Biering.

The family will receive friends from 4 to 6 p.m. Saturday at Elmore-Cannon-Stephens Funeral Home followed by the rendering of military honors.

Elmore-Cannon-Stephens Funeral Home and Crematorium of Sumter is in charge of the arrangements.
