Bring your coin collections to the Sumter Coin Club's 16th-annual Sumter Coin Show on Saturday, Oct. 19.

Sponsored by the Sumter Coin Club, the event will be held at Bethesda Church of God on Broad Street from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Join 25 coin dealers from across South Carolina to buy, sell, trade or check out many coins with a lot of history.

"Coins are not only for buying things; there's also a lot of history in coins," Bourse Chairman Glenn Heimburger said.

Heimburger said door prizes will be given every 30 minutes, and they're going to try to emphasize the youth this year.

"For every youth that comes in, 13 years or under, we're going to give them a free proof set," Heimburger said.

There will also be a raffle for a $5 gold coin that's worth $160.
