Sumter Fire Department to hold 9/11 memorial service at Lafayette Drive station

Local first responders and community members will gather around the Sumter Fire Department's flagpole at 309 N. Lafayette Drive for a memorial service to commemorate the events of 9/11 at 9 a.m. on Wednesday.
The Sumter Fire Department conducts a memorial service every year to pay respects and never forget the tragedies that happened on Sept. 1, 2001.
All are welcome to attend.
