Sumter High mini cheer camp begins Monday

Sumter High School will have a mini cheer camp beginning on Monday at the school.

The camp, which will run through Thursday, will run from 9 a.m. to noon each day and is open to children ages 4-12. The cost is $50 and includes lunch and a t-shirt.

Registration forms are available in the school's main office.

Par 4 Pets spots available

There are still spots available for teams in the 5th Annual Par 4 Pets Golf Tournament on Saturday at Crystal Lakes Golf Course.

The entry fee is $160 per team or $40 per player with a format of 4-man Captain's Choice. The fee includes a golf cart, lunch and beverages.

Mulligans are available during registration with a maximum of two per player.

Registration will begin at 8 a.m. with a shotgun start at 8:30.

Prizes will be given to the top three teams as well as those who are closest to the pin on the par-3 holes.

Sumter High soccer camp June 24-27

Sumter High School will sponsor a soccer camp June 24-27 at the school.

The camp will run from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. and is open to boys and girls who have completed grades 1-6.

The cost is $50 and includes a t-shirt.

"B" ALL IN youth basketball camp set

The "B" ALL IN Youth Basketball Camp will be held at Sumter High School June 24-27.

The camp will run from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day and is open to boys and girls in grades 3-8. Registration will be held on the first day of camp.

The cost is $60 and includes lunch and a t-shirt.

Sumter High to hold free football camp

Sumter High School will hold a free football camp July 23-24.

The camp will run from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. each day and is open to children entering grades 2-8. Registration will be on the first day of camp.

Campers are asked to wear cleats if possible, but bring tennis shoes in case of rain.

SCISA searching for volleyball officials

The South Carolina Independent Schools Association is looking for volleyball officials for the upcoming 2019 season.

SCISA is looking for veteran and brand new officials. An official would have to be able to work matches starting around 4 p.m. There will be several mandatory meetings in early August with classroom and on-the-court teaching.
