Sumter High's Lemon honored as Counselor of the Month for October contest

Tiffany Lemon, a guidance counselor at Sumter High School, was recognized on Thursday for winning Counselor of the Month, presented by Morris College, for October. She is pictured here with Christopher Hall, management specialist at Morris College. The college sponsors the contest to be administered by The Sumter Item to recognize high school counselors in Sumter, Clarendon and Lee counties. Voting is still open for November's series through Sunday. The winner will be announced on Tuesday and receive a plaque and a $50 gift card. Vote daily at www.theitem.com/counselor.
