Sumter man wanted in connection to murder investigation

The Sumter County Sheriff’s Office seeks the public’s help in locating a suspect wanted in connection to a murder investigation.

Senque Rashad-Tyrek Robinson, 24, is wanted for conspiracy to commit armed robbery and is a person of interest in the ongoing murder investigation of Willie McDuffie, according to Gwen Herod, Sumter County court liaison.

Robinson is 5 foot 4 inches tall, weighs about 135 pounds and has black hair and brown eyes. He is to be considered armed and dangerous, Herod said.

Anyone who sees Robinson is asked to call the Sumter County Sheriff’s Office at (803) 436-2000, Crime Stoppers at 1-888-CRIME-SC or 911.

A cash reward of up to $5,000 is being offered for information leading to an arrest.
