Sumter native honored at S.C. Association for the Education of Young Children conference

Sumter native Naomi K. McQuiller was recently honored with The Felicia Smalls Ragland Award and the Sally McClellan Member Scholarship at the recent South Carolina Association for the Education of Young Children 2019 Annual Conference.

Additionally, McQuiller was recently slated as a 2020 Governing Board Candidate for the National Association for the Education of Young Children.

McQuiller, a South Carolina Teaching Fellow, is a senior at Winthrop University, where she majors in Individualized Studies with Minors in Educational Studies and Peace, Justice and Conflict Resolution Studies.
