The public is being asked to help identify the sketch of a man suspected after a pizza delivery driver was robbed.

The employee was delivering a pizza to an address on the 100 block of Carver Street before noon on Thursday when he was approached by three males possibly between 16 and 17 years old, according to the Sumter Police Department.

At least one of the robbers was armed and fled on foot after stealing a wallet, the pizza and other items.

A description of what the three suspects were wearing was not given.

In South Carolina, 17-year-olds can be charged and prosecuted as adults.

The police department posted a sketch of one of the suspects on its Facebook page asking for anyone who has information on the incident or the sketched suspect to call (803) 436-2700. You can also call Crime Stoppers at 1-888-CRIME-SC (274-6372) to leave an anonymous tip.

A cash reward may be available for information leading to arrests.
